Can you throw the MatchShot sack anyway?
Yes, you can throw overhand, underhand, sideways…whatever way you want
What if the sack hits the ground and bounces up on to the board known as the box?
The sack cannot hit the ground, a wall or anything. If it does the throw is disqualified and the sack is removed from the box
How many ways can you play MatchShot?
You can play One Verses One or team play.
How many teams can play MatchShot at the same time?
Total of eight players. Four teams of two.
Do you have to score exactly 15 points to win
Yes
What if I go over 15 points?
If you or your team goes over 15 points than you go back down to the score at the round before.
Example: I have 12 points and I score 16. Next round I will start at 12 points again.
What if I toss a sack and it goes into the hole but somehow pops out?
In that case it would count as a good throw and you can replace back into the hole.
How many feet is the box place from where you toss?
The box is set up 12’ away but for players under the age of 12 the box can be placed 10’ away.
Can I score multiple points by tossing more than one sack into a hole?
Yes. A player or team can score multiple sacks into one hole for points.
How do you decide which player or team throws first?
Each player One V One throws all four sacks at the box to see who throws first. Whichever player scores the most points with their four tosses throws first. If tied players throw again.
Same is done in team play. A player from each team throws all four sacks adding up the total of points. If tied, then the other player from each team throw until order is established.
Can you leave the MatchShot outside?
It is ok if left outside once in a while but try not to especially in the rain.
Can I order new sacks separately?
Yes, sacks can be ordered separately. Sacks come in a 4 pack (red or black) for $14.95.
Yes. Only the box is covered under warranty from manufacturer defect.
Will there be any MatchShot tournaments in my area?
Tournaments will be listed on the website. Many people also set up their own tournaments locally. Please email us for help in setting one up.
